ROCKFORD – A suspect is wanted in an armed robbery that occurred Monday morning at a Rockford fast-foot restaurant.

Shortly before 6 a.m., Rockford Police officers responded to the Burger King at 2334 11th St. in response to a report of an armed robbery. Police say officers learned that a armed man held up three employees. He took cellphones and money from a safe he forced an employee to open.

The suspect is described as a black male between 25 and 30. He’s a bout 6 feet tall and was wearing a black ski mask, brown coat and black pants. He fled the area in a silver car with tinted windows.
