ROCKFORD — Rockford Mayor Tom McNamara will host three town hall events in the coming weeks.

During the meetings, McNamara will provide a brief overview of the state of the city, followed by questions from the audience.

Following is the meeting schedule.

• Wednesday, May 8, 6-7 p.m., Regents Hall in Burpee Center at Rockford University
• Tuesday, May 14, 6-7 p.m., Main Town Hall Center at Wesley Willows on North Rockton Avenue
• Wednesday, June 5, 6-7 p.m., Anderson Gardens 

The meetings will supplant the mayor’s annual State of the City Address. The events are free. R.
