Rockford man charged with holding woman against her will

ROCKFORD – A Rockford man was jailed Thursday after police responded to a domestic altercation in the 2900 block of Reid Farm Road.
Officers from the Rockford Police Department responded to the scene at 5:50 p.m., and spoke to a 38-year-old woman who said she had been held against her will. During the initial investigation, officers developed 37-year-old Bryce Long as a suspect. Police say he was later located and was in possession of multiple guns and ammunition.
Long is charged with unlawful restraint, unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition. He is being held at the Winnebago County Jail. Bond has been set at $200,000.
