ROCKFORD – October 9, innovators and entrepreneurs will share their ideas and compete for cash
prizes as EIGERlab’s 13th Annual FastPitch takes place at NIU-Rockford.

The deadline to register for the event is Sept. 25.

In a three-minute pitch, competitors share their passion, research and an outline of their business plan. In the first round of the competition, judges give participants valuable feedback on their pitches. The highest-scoring pitches make the final stage and present their ideas to an auditorium full of judges, potential investors, potential partners, and friends.

Before the Oct. 9 event, FastPitch training sessions will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Oct. 1 and 3. Sessions help prepare participants for their pitches at the event. The cost for both sessions is $15.

Interested participants may submit their three-minute (1,000 words or less) pitches in writing for pre-qualification to tleombruni@eigerlab.org.
