Man indicted in stabbing at Rockford gas station

ROCKFORD – A Rockford man has been indicted for allegedly stabbing another man at a west-side gas station earlier this month.
Darnell Baymon, 51, is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, an allegation that stems from a May 3 altercation at the Way Low Citgo, 2914 W. State St.
Prosecutors say Baymon stabbed the other man in the shoulder during the exchange.
Baymon is also charged with driving on a revoked license and driving an uninsured vehicle. He’s being held on a $75,000 bond and is due in court July 9.
