Rosecrance to merge with Jackson Recovery Centers

Staff Report

ROCKFORD – Rockford’s Rosecrance will merge with Jackson Recovery Centers in 2019, the companies announced Wednesday.

The deal will expand Rosecrance’s services throughout the Midwest to nearly 60 locations. Jackson will benefit by integrating Rosecrance’s behavioral health services for patients in Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota and South Dakota.

Jackson is based in Sioux City, Iowa.

“I believe our boards of directors are doing what good non-profits should do, and that is to look down the road 5 or 10 years and ask what we need to do to grow our mission, given the challenges we face with funding and the opportunities we have to meet growing community needs,” Rosecrance President and CEO Philip W. Eaton said in a statement.

The merger is expected to be completed by Jan. 1. R.
