Eisenhower edges Harlem in middle school football championship

ROCKFORD – The Eisenhower Eagles edged Harlem Middle School, 14-12, Saturday to win the second varsity football title in Rock River Athletic Conference (RRAC) history.

Eisenhower went 5-2 during the regular season, losing to Harlem and RESA. The Eagles revenged those two losses in the playoffs, beating RESA last week to advance to the finals versus the Huskies.

The Flinn Falcons won the varsity title in 2017, the first year of RRAC play.
