ROCKFORD – The Rockford Police Department is investigating a homicide that happened around 9 p.m. in the 3500 block of Fawnridge Drive.

Details are limited, however, police say the victim is a 61-year-man who was stabbed multiple times during a fight. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
