ROCKFORD – The Rockford Police Department is investigating after a truck rammed into a Rockford business.

Shortly before 5 a.m., Wednesday, June 12, officers responded to J & F Tobacco, 2410 S. Alpine Road, in
reference to a business alarm. Upon arrival, they observed extensive damage to the front door of the business.

Officers learned a red pickup truck hit the entrance twice without gaining entry to the business. The vehicle then fled the scene. Nothing was taken and no one was hurt.
