Urban Equity Properties purchases Haskell Park Apartments

ROCKFORD – Haskell Park Apartments LLC, an affiliate of Urban Equity Properties, has purchased the historic Haskell Park Apartments building, 327 N. Church St., from The Heracles Group LLC.

Haskell Park includes 35 residential apartments and several commercial spaces. Urban Equity plans for more than $400,000 in improvements to the property.

UEP’s assets under management and development now include more than 350 residential and commercial units, including Class-A office space and retail storefronts. The firm was founded in 2006.

Renovations to Haskell Park Apartment are scheduled to begin this fall. Urban Equity is also underway on the Residences at Talcott, CA Flats and two projects in downtown Aurora. The company says it will soon break ground on 301, a 33-unit luxury apartment building with ground floor commercial space at 301 S. Main St., the site of the former Hanley Furniture building, which was destroyed by fire in 2017.
