ROCKFORD – Fall for Rockford, a family friendly downtown community event will take place
Saturday, Sept. 21, from 1 to 9 p.m.

Roadways and municipal parking lots around the event area will be closed at 6 a.m. and remain closed until about 11 p.m.

Traffic will be impacted as follows:

• North Main Street from East State Street north to Jefferson St. will be closed
• Mulberry Street from Wyman Street to Church Street will be closed (partial access on Mulberry east to the alley will be allowed)
• Wyman Street will remain open except the western parking lanes
• Municipal Lots 1 and 3 behind The District and Memorial Hall will be closed all day.

Local businesses will remain open, and on-street parking as well as municipal lots have
unrestricted parking times.

Billed as a premier outdoor food and music festival, Fall for Rockford features a dozen restaurants selling their signature menu items and free entertainment on one stage.

The event is free.
