Hard Rock announces hundreds of positions at Rockford’s temporary casino

ROCKFORD — Hard Rock is looking to fill a hundreds of jobs at Rockford’s temporary casino that is slated to open this fall.

Jobs at the casino range from restaurant staff to management. Hard Rock is encouraging Rockford residents to visit their career website at to learn more about all the open positions and benefits.

β€œWe’re very eager to get the ball rolling on the temporary casino but the magic of our operations really begins with the people we recruit,” said Jon Lucas, COO of Hard Rock International. “Our team has been working diligently to ensure those recruiting efforts are right here in Rockford, keeping the promises we made in the very beginning of this project. No matter the role, our team is committed to recruiting a diverse workforce with a strong local presence and preparing them to have a successful career in the gaming industry.”

The company will announce the dates of their upcoming hiring events to take place at locations throughout Rockford.

Hard Rock’s temporary casino will be at 610 N. Bell School Road, the former site of Giovanni’s, Big Al’s and Alchemy. The company says it will be open in less than 60 days.
