ROCKFORD – Detectives with the Rockford Police Department are investigating a burglary at an east-side restaurant early Tuesday.

Shortly before 5 a.m., officers in the 3700 block of East State Street met with an employee of Johnny Pamcakes, who told them the restaurant had been burglarized.

The ATM inside the business was damaged and money was taken from it. No injuries were reported.
